The Fine Arts Collection has been built through generous donations by collectors and artists over the past thirty years and more. This exhibition includes donations from the past year by friends, an alumnus and a Davis resident. The assembled works range from two delightful William T. Wiley works from his Davis years, to an elegant print by the noted French modernist sculptor Gaston Lachaise, and from a handsome lithograph by local artist Irving Marcus to a suite of photograms by the Bay Area’s Diane Althoff.
