Every year the Nelson Gallery, in conjunction with the Memorial Union Gallery, presents the work of graduate students receiving their MFA degrees from the fine art department. This year eight students are graduating, all of whom will present work at the Nelson, and at the MU Gallery. They are: Jamie Banes, Ashley Gierke, Francisco Gonzalez, Richard Haley, Mariah Hess, Christian Lanier, Gabrielle Lerner, and Cynthia Yardley.
