NELSON ARTfriends is an organization committed to the support and enhancement of the programs of the Richard L. Nelson and The Fine Arts Collection.

The Nelson Gallery Endowment Fund supports exhibitions and related programs as well as contributes to the conservation of works in the collection and the management of the collection.

NELSON ARTfriends is an organization committed to the support and enhancement of the Programs of the Richard L. Nelson Gallery and Fine Arts Collection and the educational mission of the Department of Art & Art History. Nelson ARTfriends provides an essential link between these visual arts programs at the University and the cultural life of the region.

To ensure the ongoing success and stability of the Richard L. Nelson Gallery & Fine Arts Collection, NELSON ARTfriends contributed to an ambitious effort in 1995 to develop endowments. The organization created the Nelson Gallery Endowment Fund to support exhibitions and related programs, and worked to enlarge the Vesta Endowment Fund, originally created by a generous donor, to conserve works in the collection and support management of the collection.

Please consider a donation to the endowment funds. Your gift will make a lasting contribution to the Richard L. Nelson Gallery & Fine Arts Collection and will benefit present and future generations of students, faculty, and members of the public.

Contributions to the endowment funds are considered charitable gifts and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by current IRS regulations.
