Don Ed Hardy is widely regarded as the most important tattoo artist of his generation. He has published many books and curated exhibitions on the history of tattoo. He graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute and has been a full-time painter for the past decade. His work represented the United States at the Cuenca (Ecuador) Biennal in 2002. He is now widely known for his highly popular line of Ed Hardy clothing and accessories.
